Pegotty Cooper
Pegotty Cooper owns her own consulting and coaching practices and has had great success in developing staff and building teams in organizations, especially in reorganizations and start up initiatives. She is a multi-faceted professional with a broad range of executive experience in associations (state and international) Fortune 100, entrepreneurial and small business organizations.
Earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts and an Executive MBA from Rutgers University, Pegotty brings to the table expertise in the following areas:
- Transition planning
- Strategic planning
- Staff development, training, motivation and performance measurement;
- Process and system analysis and improvement;
- Creative problem solving;
- Cross functional team development; and
- Customer and member service evaluation.
In the organizational environment, Pegotty works to:
- Understand the alignment of the vision and critical business direction and the current performance and performance metrics;
- Look at how decision making and communication flow within the organization, and
- Understand the gap between the current state and the desired state.
- Pegotty specializes in helping leaders to:
- Develop their staff organization; and
- Have individuals operate to their fullest capacity so that the organization, the team and the individual all grow exponentially.
Pegotty believes that coaching supports this by helping the leader to:
- Know themselves better;
- Gain awareness of the impact of his/her actions on performance and employee motivation; and
- Develop a resiliency that serves the leader in times of change and transition.
She is also on the faculty of the University of Phoenix and teaches courses in business and change management. She has been recognized for leadership in association management by The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and has received a “Fellow” designation. Pegotty has also been the lead coach for a Landmark Education leadership program, has coached several other Landmark programs as well as the MBA program at the University of Tampa.
